John Layman nominated for a Harvey Award!

Champions Online Writer John Layman has been nominated for a 2008 Harvey Award for his work on Stephen Colbert's Tek Jansen No. 1.

John was a co-author of the comic, which has been nominated for Best Single Issue or Story. The Harvey Awards recognize outstanding work in comics and sequential art, and they are the only industry awards both nominated and selected by the full body of comic professionals. The winners will be announced Sept. 27 at the Baltimore Comic-Con.

A second printing of Stephen Colbert's Tek Jansen No. 1 will be available at comic stores and online retailers on Wednesday, June 24. Issue 2 will be released July 2.
