It’s time again to tell you about the latest additions to PTS and give you an update on our progress.

So far…

We have taken a look at Grab and Smash Alerts and talked about the stats and role changes that are a big part of our next update.

This week we are adding another Alert along with a host of other updates to art, rewards and gear.

We have made a big step forward in re-itemizing 1-40 missions, drops and boss drops. There may be some lingering “old” items but they are getting addressed. Moddable items are available in some places but the individual mods that enhance those items are not. We’ll talk more about modifications in a future post.

At this point we are only a few weeks away from having everything that is part of our next update on PTS. This means that there is a chance that rewards and item drops might look a little strange and powers may even feel a bit off but they won’t for long. In no time flat you will see our re-itemization efforts come together but for now please mind our dust until they do.

Let’s take a look at the Burst Alert:

BURST

A BURST Alert might just be the coolest but also the craziest of all Alerts. Similar to a smash alert, the BURST features a main Super Villain that could use a good beat down. The major difference here is the environment. In this type of alert, something has happened which has destabilized the area, and everything near by will be much more powerful than you are used to. You may find a meteor has fallen to earth or a tanker full of toxic ooze has crashed. Either way, exposure to the event has caused everyone and everything on the map to burst into extreme powered mode.

A new special Alert

This week we will also be adding the Special Alert in Redsnakes Dojo. Although running a little light on a team Green Dragon is ganging up on Redsnake and his students for an unknown reason. Queue up and stop this would be super villain.

Burst Alerts will be on PTS this Friday, March 2nd, and we will be hosting another focus test. We have 2 focus tests scheduled. The focus test times are 1:30PM – 3:00PM PST & 5:00PM – 6:30PM PST Friday March 2nd. Hop on and join in the playtest but remember to give us your feedback on the PTS Forums following the playtest. Rewards are still placeholder as we focus on the missions but we’ll get them in pretty soon.
